This project is about Henry David Thoreau, one of the American Transcendentalism’s author. By this blog I will try to pass what I learned about him and his genre (transcendentalism) and also write a essay incluiding the characteristics of this genre, I wish a can do a good work!!!!During this last month all students has hand-douts that helped us in the creation of all parts of this project. The first step was chose the author. In my case, I chose Thoreau because I consider important someone who was worried and has preocupations about the nature, somebody who tried to do something to protect the environment and allert the other ones to do the same. For the actual society his sense of ecocriticism is very important, he showed us that we really need to pay attention to the nature, preserve it, so we can have a better life in the future.
After I wish I has some free time to read one of his books completely, it’s a way to try to understand his feelings while he lived in a cabin in the middle of the woods, and how he could lived without any kind of confort: a good bed, bathroom, car, …and all this other things that we are used to.
